Oud Beersel Vandervelden range, named after the founder of the brewery, Henri Vandervelden I, is known for the complexity that arises from the use of only foeder-aged Lambic. To celebrate the 140th anniversary of Oud Beersel, a unique blend was composed, with one- and two-year-old lambic from 40 HL casks and three-year-old lambic from a 120 HL foeder. The average age of the assembly was 30 months, which gives this refined Oude Geuze an extraordinary complexity.
