Gouden Carolus | Het Anker Brewery

Het Anker Brewery enjoys worldwide fame with its renowned Gouden Carolus specialty beer. It dates back to 1471 and is one of the oldest breweries in Belgium. The three copper kettles in the brewhouse date from just after the Second World War. Every year on February 24, the birthday of Charles V, Het Anker brews the “Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Imperial Dark”.
