 De Bruinen Os was brewed for this special edition according to the traditional method of brewing lambic, and then rested in a lambic vat of the Timmermans brewery for 2 years. This is a strong brown beer of mixed fermentation.
 The result is a delicious tasting beer with the typical characteristics of an old brown. In the nose we find some clear characteristics of the Bruinen Os, such as notes of caramel and ripe fruits, supplemented with aromas of almonds, nuts and vanilla from maturing in the lambic barrel. In the taste we also find a vinous, porto-like touch, supplemented with a nice acidity and a fine fruit note that gets stronger after a while. The aftertaste is dry with a delicious alcohol warmth that lingers for a long time.  
 Because each Brewer's Desire is aged on a different and unique cask, each edition has its own story and its own flavors and aromas.
