Timmermans Brewery

Brouwerij Timmermans is the oldest and one of the larger lambic breweries and has long been known as a supplier of lambic to other breweries and blenders. This unique beer is brewed on the basis of 30% wheat in the oldest active lambic brewery in Itterbeek. At the origin of the beer lies a small miracle: the micro-organisms in the air in the Zenne valley end up in the malt, triggering spontaneous fermentation.
