Rien ne va Plus, Innovative and surprising. After a visit to a Porthous in Porto, the idea arose to make a 'Porto' of beer in the same way. A specially brewed barley wine is brought to strength after a few days of fermentation by adding grain alcohol. The fermentation is maintained with a lot of residual sugars. The sweet 'fortified' barley wine is aged for several years in oak barrels and 'portorised'. Currently available in 3 year, 4 year and now 6 year version (new)
