Christmas Beer – Gouden Carolus Christmas 75 cl bottle. We had to do without this Christmas beer for over 35 years, but the tradition was revived in 2002, and we once again brew Gouden Carolus Christmas. It is a strong, characterful dark brown beer with an ABV of 10.5%. The beer is brewed as early as August and then rests for several months to achieve an optimal balance of flavors. The addition of six exceptional spices and the use of three hop varieties make this Christmas beer a class apart—a world-class beer.
