 Gouden Carolus Tripel, this golden-yellow specialty beer is brewed with the best raw materials from our soil, such as ripe barley and Belgian hops, in order to retain as much pure aroma as possible. Ideal with chicken, spicy dishes or fine, soft cheeses. 
 
 This beer was originally brewed for the Knights of the Golden Fleece in 1491. Full of graceful tenderness, with a clean and neat taste, this beer will delight you: matured in the bottle, obtained exclusively from pale malt, top-fermented and 100% natural. With a full-bodied taste that still has a thirst-quenching effect, thanks to a balanced hopping. For an ideal taste, pour gently in one draft at a temperature of about 7°C.  This triple is world class. In 2002 this beer already won the Gold Award at the biennial World Beer Cup in the 'Tripel' category. In 2010, this beer won gold at the European Beer Star in the 'Belgian Style Tripel' category. In 2012, another gold followed with the award for the best Tripel beer in the world (“World's Best Belgian-Style Tripel”).
