 Wijnberg is a beer inspired by our region, where old brown is a well-known beer style. The dark brown beer reconciles two traditional old brown styles into a new kind of old brown, which balances between sweet and sour in taste. The Reanke mixes  one third young beer mixed with two thirds beer that has been aged in wood for at least 2 years. For added complexity  they added a portion of Jacobins Oud Foederbier from Brouwerij Vanderghinste in Bellegem. The name of this new member of the range refers to the Wijnberg, a neighborhood in Wevelgem where one of the brewers grew up. In addition, it is also a nod to the vinous character of the beer.
