The Pannepot Reserva was an idea of ​​my brewing colleague Carlo who wanted to mature Pannepot in real French oak barrels (barrique 225 liters). At the end of 2005 we brewed 90HL, which has since matured on oak (14 months). 30 hl was bottled on Tuesday May 8, 2007. 60 hl has now been transferred to second-hand calvados oak barrels and will be bottled again early autumn 2007. We will call that batch Pannepot Grand Reserva. Because quality and results are paramount at Struise, the Reserva has already been brewed again and matured on oak.
