 RODENBACH Vintage is the unique result of our RODENBACH brewers selecting the cask that has produced the best beer after two years of maturation: “cask of the year”. The barrel number is always on the label and the year refers to the start of maturation.
 
 RODENBACH Vintage is 100% matured beer, resulting in a superior taste. RODENBACH Grand Cru. The taste is complex and round, intense and refreshing. It is characterized by a sour, apple-like fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a hint of vanilla, cherry and licorice. The aroma consists of notes of caramel and oak, as well as green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The slightly sour, fruity finish is long and nicely balanced, just like a Grand Cru wine.
 
 Rodenbach Vintage 2016 is a mildly sour beer. You can taste ripened green apple, cherry, wild honey, raisins and caramel. It is a more wine-like beer with a Madeira taste and notes of balsamic, leather and tobacco. The beer has a very long finish.
