Liefmans Kriek-Brut is recognizable by its warm, deep red color. When pouring, you immediately experience aromas of red fruit, while a touch of marzipan mixes with the sour-sweet scent of warm cherries. You can also taste that pleasant sourness, followed by a sweet, but fruity aftertaste: a bit comparable to a good port. Kriek-Brut owes its final taste to 5 years of aging in the bottle in the cellars of our brewery. The long maturation process ensures that it is nicely balanced and for a lovely aroma with which it diverges from the original craft blends.
