Arabier, brewed in Esen by De Dolle Brouwers, is a pure malt beer with an alcohol content of eight percent. It is a beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle and hopped with floral hops (Nugget and WGV - Whitbread Golding Variety) from Poperinge.

“Drink arabier koel”, says the Arabic text. Insiders claim that the Arabs would express this more softly, in the sense of: “Men drinke het arabier koel”. Be that as it may, beer is forbidden there, no matter how thirst-quenching it may be. The name is always written with a small a. In the plural, people say arabiers when talking about two glasses of arabier and arabieren in the sense of: “There are no two arabiers”. This beer has a shelf life of two years.
