 RODENBACH Grand Cru has on average stood much longer in the oak barrels (“foeders”) of the Roeselare “beer cathedral”, resulting in a more pronounced version of the “Vlaams Rood Bruin Bier” style. RODENBACH Grand Cru consists of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 beer that has been aged for two years in oak. The result is a complex beer with a lot of wood and esters, wine-like and with a very long finish, just like a Grand Cru wine.
